The Context
The Licensure in Elementary Educaon Program (LEEP) program is designed for students who wish to become elementary classroom teachers in K-12 public schools. Successful compleon of the program will culminate in a recommendaon to Oregon’s Teacher Standards and Pracces Commission for a Preliminary tTeaching lLicense with endorsements to teach eElementary mMulple sSubjects and English for speakers of other languages (ESOL), along with a BA/BS in Elementary Education.
What Was My Role?
I am the Program Director’s Assistant. My job is to provide support and solve issues that they can not. Issue: we want a logo.
I connected with a friend that goes to school for graphic design. They needed some experience for a portfolio and were ready to handle the design.
Next: we want t-shirts with the logo.
I researched and found a screen printing place in Portland. A month and a half later we had a logo and t-shirts.
