The Challenge

The LGBTQ+ community has historically been targeted with advertising by tobacco companies and also uses tobacco products at higher rates compared to straight/cisgender counterparts. Tobacco companies also have a history of sponsoring PRIDE events, which has made them seem like an ally. However, when lobbying and spending politically they lean conservative, and a lot of queer people don’t know this. Tobacco growing and plastic disposable vape products also have negative impacts on the environment. They really want to watch the world burn, in every applicable sense.
