My Storybook
If Harrison Ford and Matthew Gray Gubler had a love child, it’d be me: equal parts dry humor and sternness, with a collection of weird socks and a dream of one day living in a treehouse.
At 20, I graduated from Portland State University (GO VIKINGS) and immediately started searching for an internship. For one particular interview, I drafted a mock social media post to prove I was the right person for the job. That effort paid off, and I landed an internship at a wealth management firm, all while completing a sports marketing internship and working as a sales associate.
In my free time, I often traveled back home to see my family. I grew up in a small town near Pendleton, OR, helping my mom raise eight kids while juggling high school and community college. Life was busy, but I made time for the things I love: Star Wars, Marvel, Call of Duty Black Ops 1 & 2, Scattergories, traveling, and diving into random history books.
Now, as a college graduate living in a big city, I’m working hard to make my family proud.
