Content Strategy Insight
During my internship, I noticed a recurring pattern across Max BP’s social media channels: many users commented on the price of the machine, often assuming it was too high without understanding what made it valuable. Because I spent time in the office learning about the engineering, assembly, and quality behind each unit, I realized there was a major knowledge gap between what we understood internally and what customers knew externally.
To address this, I helped strategize a video series built around one core goal:
make the value of the product as clear and visible as its price.
Key Ideas Behind the Videos
Explain why the machine costs what it does.
We highlighted the craftsmanship, durability, and engineering that go into every unit—elements that justify the higher price point.
Showcase the handcrafted assembly process.
Each machine is assembled by hand in Portland, Oregon, by skilled engineers who test and refine every product. Showing this process helped customers understand the quality they’re paying for.
Humanize the brand.
Featuring the team behind the product helped build trust and transparency. Customers could see the real people designing, assembling, and testing each machine.
Highlight “Made in the USA.”
Emphasizing local assembly increased perceived value and reinforced the brand’s commitment to quality manufacturing.
